My name is Laurie.  I am a married mother of one, 9.  I decided to start this site based on my own experiences with food.Laurie with family

Over a year ago I discovered that certain foods were making my stomach bloated and I was in constant pain.

I have tried every diet in the book to maintain weight over the years.  Some worked quite well and some were not the healthiest options.  So with this discovery I began to eat a diet full of vegetables, lean proteins, nuts, and whole grains.  I have eliminated sugar, white flour, potatoes and white rice.

This task might seem daunting as it did for me when I began, now this is my lifestyle.  This has become my way of life and I would never go back.2844_1133049762827_1124760970_30406381_1521700_n[1]

I eat better and food just tastes better now.

    LOL LOve the picture of Alex! I was the same way that is why I eat the way I do. My digestive system can’t handle dairy, wheat and gluten. It has gotten easy over the years but to have everyone eat pizza is not cool. I feel everything your going through. Thank you for this little website.
    I’m seriously gonna start a running club.
